The new Skilled Immigration Act will also change family reunification effective from 1. March 2024.<\/strong>
\nUp to now, only spouses and children were permitted to join their spouses and relocate to Germany. The new legislation enables parents and parents-in-law to also relocate. This only applies to skilled workers who receive their residence permit after 1 March 2024 (cut-off date regulation). It has not yet been decided how proof of subsistence will be provided and how healthcare insurance will be guaranteed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
