Positive states are encompassed in the Schengen Agreement <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW143410409 BCX0\">and are for example<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW143410409 BCX0\"> Canada, the USA, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Uruguay, Israel, Australia and several others. Jobseekers from these countries are permitted to enter Germany for 90 days without a visa but are not permitted to work without a residence permit. <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW143410409 BCX0\">This means that once they have found a job, the entire process must be started at the local immigration office and registration at the place of residence is mandatory. The situation is difficult for the jobseeking as it is often impossible to receive an appointment at the immigration office within the 90 days and they must leave Germany otherwise the entry regulations are violated.
