Communication skills are key for a successful collaboration!<\/p>\n
I have been engaged in an international environment for the past 20 years and have learnt much about people and the importance of communication. It is essential for the success of a project or a long-term collaboration. More diversity in the environment leads to greater opportunities for invasion and creativity – once an awareness of different cultures and communication style is in place as the basis.<\/p>\n
I have acquired this knowledge of awareness with the help of Erin Meyer’s Cultural Map, I practise it and pass it on during my day-to-day business activities.<\/p>\n
Working with people energises me, I am interested in their stories, what motivates them in their private and professional life and how it can be improved. Some years ago, I moved from Aschaffenburg to Bruchsal, even though it’s merely a distance of 150 kilometres, it gave me an insight to having to find your feet in a new environment. And it enables me to help the assignees to quickly feel at home.<\/p>\n
