This year I stayed in Germany for a week vacation and went to Berlin for the first time in my life. It is a vast city with many districts and you definitely need lots of time to really see everything. There are great restaurants, shopping opportunities for every budget, numerous museums; there is even a whole island for the museums which is right in the middle of the river Spree. A cruise on the river is highly recommendable and is available all over. Whether it is politics or history, modern or ancient, there is something to interest everybody at every level of expertise. In my opinion this mixture of old and new is nowhere to be seen as much as in Berlin. I had the privilege of being guided by an insider in “her city”, my bizorganization colleague Juliane who grew up in East Berlin, and today assists our Berlin clients in the relocation process.

My conclusion: Berlin is definitely worth a trip and the Berlin Currywurst is a MUST for every visitor!
