Kosovan passport holders are now permitted to enter Europe without a visa and remain for a maximum of 90 days.
This new regulation came into force on January 1st of 2024 and simplifies the procedure for jobseekers. Job applications and personal interviews can be organised without any problems, the fees for a visa are eliminated as well as the long waiting periods for it to be issued. However, to take up employment in Germany or the EU, a work visa must still be obtained from the German embassy.
