After a long wait Nivetha finally received her EU Blue Card.
The EU Blue Card is a residence permit for third-country nationals with a university degree. It enables them to accept employment with a specific annual income and apply their expertise and talents here in Germany. Holders of the card are on a fast track to a permanent settlement permit, which in turn provides security when planning ahead and they are also entitled to bring their family to Germany on simplified conditions.
