Cultural Awareness Training
A professional can arrive in Germany in perfect legal order and still struggle in the job, because the cultural codes at work and in daily life remain unspoken. Misunderstandings in communication, different expectations around hierarchy and decision-making, uncertainty in German everyday life, all of that costs motivation and is a common reason for early turnover. The Cultural Awareness Training addresses exactly this and prepares international employees for living and working in Germany.
The training is aimed at both sides, at the international professional and at the receiving team. This creates a shared understanding that carries the collaboration from the start.
The two modules
The training consists of two parts that build on each other.
Communication in the company
This part is about how communication and decision-making work in companies and what expectations exist in professional interaction. Managers are also invited to this part, so that the particular wishes and needs of your company can be addressed. This creates clarity on both sides and prevents friction before it arises.
Welcome to Germany
The second part brings practical orientation for life in Germany, from home finding through waste separation to negotiation situations and everyday questions. These seemingly small things often decide how quickly someone feels at home.
Format and booking
The training can be booked flexibly. As an addition to the Comfort Package it takes place online and lasts two hours. As a standalone group training for companies it runs in person and lasts four hours. So it suits both the individual professional and a whole team receiving international colleagues.
