We had a series called ‘Learn from your colleagues’ at our bizdays.

On Friday, Peter Grosch enlightened us on the requirements and demands when registering residence, opening a bank account and changing driving licenses, Karina Bierkoven followed with the procedure of signing up with a utility and an internet provider and organising household insurance. Kathryn Boccuti enlightened us about her activities in the back office and Anna Funke continued on the importance of social media and our online presence.

We started Saturday with Friedericke Schoeneck-Böttger’s focus on Home Finding and Caroline Hofmann concluded with a presentation on cultural awareness. This was also the trigger to discuss our new business line of Cultural Awareness. Starting in 2025, we will offer a Getting Started Package Plus – the relocation package can be extended by a 2-hour online course in Cultural Awareness for the assignee and their line manager. The course will also be available as face-to-face trainings with individual content on site at the client’s premises, independent of our relocation packages. With the greater need in the employment market for professionals from overseas, the new business extension is an excellent opportunity for both our assignees and the teams they join in work to promote a better understandning of each other.

Our consultants are committed to supporting the HR departments with the integration of expats and it is a joy to work closely with the newcomers to make their life smoother in Germany
