Our dear colleague Nanci accompanied our assignee Artur and his wife Yelena to the immigration office. The team at the office there is really co-operative and flexible and everything went smoothly. The couple had already applied for the EU Blue Card and the residence permit and will shortly be issued. This appointment was an excellent example of how skilled workers from overseas are made to feel welcome. It is also more pleasant for us as relocation consultants when the authorities are understanding and it’s possible to postpone an appointment without any problems. Unfortunately we have also experienced the opposite. Artur and his wife are eagerly awaiting the appointment when they can hold the EU Blue Card and resident permit in their hands.
